Set Up Your Profile

When you first log into the MiVoice Office app, which is named "Mitel Office" on your mobile phone, your profile is already setup with your name, mobile phone number, extension, and business email address. 

You can edit your profile at any time to change your name or your avatar. The avatar, which is the icon or image that displays with your profile, defaults to a randomly assigned colored circle that displays your initials and is visible to all MiVoice Office app users. Please select the appropriate tab below to view instructions specific to your type of mobile phone.


  1. To view your profile, do one of the following:
    • Swipe right on the navigation bar at the bottom of the app and tap your avatar.
    • Tap the gear icon on the right side of the navigation bar and tap the area with your name and avatar at the top of the Settings screen.
  2. To make changes, tap “Edit” at the bottom of your profile screen and do one or both of the following:
    • Tap your profile name and make the desired changes.
    • Tap your profile avatar and follow the prompts. For help, see Upload Your Avatar.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To keep the changes that you made, tap save in the top-right corner of the screen.
    • To cancel these changes, tap the back arrow to navigate away from the profile screen.


  1. To view your profile, from the header bar at the top of the app, tap the navigation menu icon  and tap your name or avatar.
  2. To make changes, tap “Edit” at the bottom of your profile screen and do one or both of the following:
    • Tap your profile name and make the desired changes.
    • Tap your profile avatar and follow the prompts. For help, see Upload an Avatar.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To keep the changes that you made, tap save in the top-right corner of the screen.
    • To cancel these changes, tap the back arrow to navigate away from the profile screen.


Note

You cannot change the mobile phone number or email address entered when you registered your app.
