The following is a list of the tasks explained in this topic that are required to configure SIP Trunks to connect a MiVoice Office 250 PBX with the CloudLink Gateway:
As a best practice during configuration, change the Operating State to “maintenance mode” and set the Call Failure Threshold to “0” (disable alarm). Otherwise you will get nuisance alarms during the initial setup.
Create the SIP Trunk Group
In the MiVoice Office 250 PBX, navigate to System > Devices and Feature Codes > SIP Peers > SIP Trunk Groups.
From the SIP Trunk Groups folder, to create a SIP Trunk Group for the trunks that will connect to the CloudLink Gateway, select the 'Create SIP Trunk Group from Template' option and select the CloudLink.stg template.

Configuration Folder Settings
In the Configuration folder of the new SIP Trunk Group, configure or verify the following settings:
IP Address = CloudLink Gateway IP Address
Call Configuration = Set to the next available number (typically "2"). This number should match the Call Configurations folder number assigned to CloudLink. See the Call Configuration Note below for instructions.
Operating State = In-Service (the system may switch to Out-of-Service automatically if the connection to the SIP Trunk is lost)
Maximum Number of Calls = This value cannot be set in the template (it is automatically generated based on the available licenses and number of SIP Trunks in this group)
Use ITU-T E.164 Phone Number = Yes
Use Peer Address In From Header = Yes
Disable Domain Validation = Yes
DTMF Decoding Payload = 101
Configuration folder for the new SIP Trunk Group
Configuration Folder Settings instructions above must match the folder number associated with the CloudLink SIP Trunks.
Call Configuration Note: To verify the Call Configuration folder number for the new SIP Trunk Group, which was set via the instructions above, navigate to the System > IP-Related Information > Call Configurations folder, open the "2 Remote" folder, select the SIP Trunk Groups folder, and verify that the Extension number is associated with CloudLink SIP Trunks as shown below. If a customer has no prior SIP Trunks in the PBX, then look in the "1 Local" folder. The Call Configuration folder number set in the

Registrar Folder Settings
In the Registrar folder for the new SIP Trunk Group, configure or verify the following settings:
Enable Registration = Yes.
Registrar IP Address = CloudLink Gateway IP Address
Registration Refresh Level = 3600
Initial Retry Interval = 5
Maximum Registration Retries = 5000

Authentication Folder Settings
In the Authentication folder for the new SIP Trunk Group, configure:
Out-bound Username = Enter any desired username.
Out-bound Password = Enter any desired password.
Make note of the Username and Password for subsequent use in the CloudLink Gateway configuration

Route Sets Folder Settings
In the Route Sets folder for the new SIP Trunk Group, create a new Route Set by configuring the following:
Hostname = CloudLink Gateway IP Address
Username = Enter any desired username and make a note of it (used for identification purposes only)
Port Number = 5060

Trunk Group Configuration Folder Settings
In the Trunk Group Configuration folder for the new SIP Trunk Group, configure or verify the following settings:
Echo Trunk Number = Yes.
Day Ring-In Type and Night Ring-In Type = Set to the next available Call Routing Table number (typically "2") and verify that it matches the Call Routing Table assigned to CloudLink as shown in Create Call Routing Tables.
Send Station Extension/Username to Attached PBX = Yes
Propagate Original Caller ID = Yes
Trunk Group Configuration folder for the new SIP Trunk Group
Trunks Folder Settings
In the Trunks folder for the new SIP Trunk Group, create a SIP Trunk for each expected CloudLink application user.

Toll Restriction Folder Settings
In the Toll Restriction Folder for the new SIP Trunk Group, configure or verify the following settings:
Subject to Toll Restriction = No
Exempt from ARS Only = Yes
Toll Restriction folder for the new SIP Trunk Group
Advanced IP Settings Folder Settings
In the Advanced IP Settings folder, make sure the SIP UDP Listening Port is enabled by configuring or verifying the following settings:
SIP UDP Listening Port Enable = Yes
SIP UDP Listening Port = 5060
If either of these settings required changes, the MiVoice Office 250 PBX must be rebooted before the changes are effective.
